Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, New York’s preeminent family friendly venue, presents family performances to benefit Save the Children.

The benefit on Saturday, December 10, 2011 will include a party featuring The Amazing Max at 2pm followed by a performance of Freckleface Strawberry The Musical at 3pm at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center at 248 W. 60th Street, NYC (between Amsterdam and West End Avenues) in the Lincoln Center area. Academy Award-nominated actress Julianne Moore, author of the original NY Times Best Selling, Freckleface Strawberry book, will be in attendance. Ticket holders will have an opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Freckleface Strawberry and take photos with the cast.

Called "Fast, funny, and entertaining for all ages!" by The New York Times, Freckleface Strawberry The Musical is the story of little Freckleface Strawberry who with the help of her lovable schoolmates, including an amazingly talented ballerina, a cutie jock, a charming ditz, and a totally kooky teacher, learns that everyone is different and that's what makes everyone special!

At 5:30pm on Saturday, December 10, 2011, there will be a special performance of PETER PANtomime, with Tina Fey in attendance. Tickets are $100 and are available by visiting manhattanmovement.com/calendar.

PETER PANtomime, a holiday workshop performance of the classic Peter Pan story, PETER PANtomime is presented in a joyful holiday Pantomime Production for kids by kids. An all singing and all dancing panto with tapping, flying feet takes Wendy, Peter, and the gang from Nursery to Neverland! Nana, the dog, keeps watch over her wards in more ways than they ever imagined! Crow with Peter, cheer for Tinkerbell, and boo for Captain Hook.
