Dan Savage, writer, author and controversial idealist, will be coming to Eastern Michigan University on Wednesday, October 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.

Dan Savage is the original columnist for the Seattle Stranger. Along with his column he has taken time to write popular books such as: The Kid: What Happened After My Boyfriend and I Decided to Go Get Pregnant, a book about how Savage and his boyfriend adopted their son, Things I've Learned from Women Who've Dumped Me, Dan’s views on women and featuring interviews with Stephen Colbert, Andy Richter, Will Forte and more.

With his frank, funny advice on sex and relationships, Savage creates a safe space for all audiences to honestly discuss “taboo” topics.
