Savage Ancient Seas September 14, 2011

Savage Ancient Seas features cast skeletons from the collection of Mike Triebold, a paleontologist that has collected fossils for more than 20 years. His finds were garnered from an area referred to as the Western Interior Seaway which is the present-day Midwestern section of the country. The Seaway was home to many different animals, most of which are extinct today. These specimens include fish, clams, ammonites, squid and turtles. Even dinosaur bones have been discovered. They are thought to have died along the shoreline before being carried out to sea.
