Saudagar - Play based on Rertolt Brecht. Adapted by Javed Akhtar & Srikanth kishor. Directed by : Chandrabhushan Singh. A merchant is hastening to gain a concession.he mistrusts his guide because he is too friendly with the coolie who carries the baggage,so sends him back.the coolie loses the way in the desert, they run short of water,ans when the coolie approches him with a waterbottle the merchant thinks he is going to attak him,and shoots.a court judges the case and decides that it was self defence.the rule is that the underdog must want to attak his employer,and the merchant could not be expected to know that here was an exception.with sourondind with 10 character may show a good and comedy ,political satirical play.
