'Satellites' features two plays that reveal the secrets, lies and absolute loneliness that can exist within the modern family unit. In Bradley Vile's 'Fostered Ideal,' the Foster family strives to maintain the image of the perfect family. However, in doing so they are secretly destroying themselves. 'Tree Man' by Steven Schutzman introduces us to two mothers whose lives intersect while their sons are at play. One yearns for stability, one needs her foundation shaken, both desperate to feel "normal". As the wine flows, they discover that they have something to offer each other.
