BHARATHAA ARTS, SINGAPORE

Smt Suganthi Kumaraguru and Jayanthi Balasubramaniam, popularly known as ‘Kesavan Sisters’, are the founders of Bharathaa Arts, Singapore. They have successfully trained hundreds of students in Singapore, in Bharatanatyam, an ancient art form.

They have, to their credit, many dance dramas, themed shows, impressive dance repertoire and stage performances, which have received many accolades.

SARVAM SHAKTI MAYAM

Bharathaa Arts, Singapore, presents, a unique Bharatanatyam dance feature, which emphasizes the manifestations of Shakti – the source of all energy in the Universe.

Shakti, the Goddess of composite figure, includes various aspects of the Female Deity, in a series of contrasting incarnations. Deities, such as Saraswathi, Lakshmi, Kamakshi, Meenakshi, who have ‘Shanta Swarupa’ while Durga, Chamundi, and Kali who have ‘Ugra Swarupa’, bring peace and harmony in the Universe, irrespective of their form.

‘Sarvam Shakti Mayam’ portrays the different aspects of Shakti, the female power.
