49 Henry St
Saratoga Springs, New York 12866

First meeting held at the Saratoga Springs Public Library - Susman Room. Enter the library and go to the ground floor. Turn right and look for the overhead room signs.

I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Little understanding of this complex disease, I feel sharing with others about it is very helpful. You can read a lot from books, but personal stories and experiences have been most helpful to me. Just knowing there is someone else out there to help, gives comfort. A little bit of knowledge goes a long way.

The purpose of this group is to relay knowledge and support each other sharing what we know about this disease. Information on GF food and working on a quality of life with this disease is so important. We can share personal stories and recommendations for places to eat and food purchases. Groups working on research of food and manufacturers for food safety. We are looking for a quality of life and the satisfaction and enjoyment of food that is safe for us.

Anyone in the tri-city area wanting to meet at the Saratoga Springs Library and make this a good support system not only for yourself, but others who are confused and anxious about this disease. This can be a group for not only you...but your family as well...to understand and help you. Our goal is to educate, be healthy and feel better. Hope to hear from you soon! Sandy
