Singer-songwriter and fiddle player Sara Watkins spent nearly two decades as one-third of Nickel Creek, the GRAMMY award-winning contemporary bluegrass acoustic trio. Now she’s released a debut solo album, brimming with easygoing virtuosity. With a mixture of covers and self-penned songs, Watkins moves through folk, country and swing with tunes that vary from exuberant and playful to world-weary to romantic and wistful.
