A dynamic convergence of social and individual histories, Sara Shelton Mann's Monk is a meditation on our undeniable connectedness. Combining innovative dance, video, original music, light and text, Mann's mixed-media collage is comprised of three movements?Survival, Feast of Souls, and The Beloved?all choreographed for a new incarnation of her legendary ensemble Contraband. Mann calls this epic project "selected memories of a soul over the last 2000 years."
