Santa Speedo Run December 17, 2006

A crowd wearing only red and freen Speedos, Santa hats and assorted holiday accesories will be running a lap around back bay. The Santa Speedo Run started out as a joke and turned into an annual charity event.

The pre-party starts at 10:20 ar Lir where runner who've raised a minimum pledge amount of $200 can grab a confidence-boosting free drink; non-running supporters just need a $20 minimum donation. Proceeds benefit various charity organizations

The mob heads out around 1pm. They'll run to Comm ave, down to Berklee, right on Newbury, up to Gloucester, and back to Lir for the post-party!!
