The Santa Clara Planning Department and City Council are at it again. They are deciding on a development which 4 stories, with all u-turn access into and out of the development, the Wheels and Deals property at 2585 El Camino Real is looming to be another large development. Every building within 6 plus blocks are sign story.

Many neighborhood residents are concerned about the hodge podge of developments that are being proposed in Santa Clara. Our schools are full, the traffic is already heavy...the EIR report (environmental impact report) are canned templates chock full of incorrect information.

Planning Commission recommendation to adopt a Resolution adopting a Mitigated Negative Declaration and approving General Plan Amendment #68, land use designation from Mixed Use to Transit-Oriented Mixed Use and rezoning from Thoroughfare Commercial (CT) to Planned Development (PD) for development of a four-story mixed use project at 2585 El Camino Real (APN 216-01-008) [PLN2007-06419/CEQ2007-010147 - Greg Malley].
