Greensboro, NC ? Treat your Valentine to a special evening at the 4rd annual Musical Moods Dinner and Concert in downtown Greensboro, and support a local nonprofit at the same time!
Musical Moods 2010 will be held in the Empire Room on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 6:30pm. The event is hosted by Sanctuary House, a recovery and rehabilitation program located in Greensboro for adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
The evening will feature a welcome glass of champagne and hors d'oeuvres followed by the opening of three lavish buffet stations offering a tempting selection of dinner choices. Desserts will feature mouth-watering treats from A Sweet Success!, Sanctuary House's new vocational program, and a coffee bar. The featured performer is Walrus. Out of Greensboro, North Carolina, hails as one of the most hypnotic party bands available. Walrus consists of some of the best musicians that have come out of North Carolina, including members of Ben Folds' Band (Universal Records) and Bus Stop and the legendary drummer Eddie Walker, muse to Ben Folds. Their live shows are full of energy and deliver raw talent and tons of fun. Playing everyone's favorite party sounds from the 60's through today, they will have the crowd singing along and asking for more. With over 10 years experience, Walrus consists of some of the best musicians to come out of North Carolina.
