'Sanctified' tells the story of a rural Southern church hit by hard times. In order to lift everyone's spirits, the pastor brings in a diva-like musicologist to wake up a church choir. She and the choir do their best to shake each other up, and lessons are learned about how there's more to gospel music than simple technical competence.
