San Francisco Youth Ballet Presents The 12th Annual Performance of The Nutcracker December 15, 2012

This magical, full-length version of The Nutcracker features Pablo Infante and Cassandra Lund, former principle dancers with the California Ballet Company, performing with the students of the San Francisco Youth Ballet and amazing guest talent from around the world. The dance tells the story of young Clara, who dreams that her gift of a toy nutcracker soldier comes to life. Together they experience a grand adventure that takes them through an epic battle with the Mouse King to the Sugar Plum Fairy's magical Kingdom of Sweets. This 2-hour production is geared toward families and is a perfect opportunity to introduce young children to this holiday ballet tradition. The first 200 children will go home with a Nutcracker gift bag and there will be photo opportunities with different characters after performances.
