The San Francisco UX Book Club will hold its first meeting on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 2:00pm at Tiny Pictures offices. The meeting will focus on Scott Berkun's book, The Myths of Innovation. Everyone attending should note: two things in the book that really struck a chord; and one thing they either hated, disagreed with or didn't understand. (Future titles will be selected by consensus!)

The San Francisco UX Book Club is is a get-together in which people interested in the area of user experience come to discuss a book relevant to the discipline.

2:00 - 2:30pm -- Welcome. Introductions. Open discussion of how SF UX BC will work.
2:30 - 4:00pm -- Discussion about The Myths of Innovation.

Special thanks to Tiny Pictures for hosting our first event!

Can't make this one. Thx.

Enough time on my hands, I don't know. — Though I have an image of a majestic epiphany machine that appears elaborated from a vintage circus game, in Flash, dishing collected excerpts from "The Myths of Innovation" upon request.

Thanks again to everyone who came. We had a great discussion about innovation, startups, books, communication, management, note taking and more with too many mentions of Twitter to count ;) Look for a write up with notes on the Google site soon, along with some ideas about future meetings.
