San Francisco Symphony Plays Stern Grove June 29, 2008

Stern Grove Festival presents an annual favorite-the renowned San Francisco Symphony, with conductor James Gaffigan leading a performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, and Verdi’s Overture to “La forza del destino.” The “Symphony Jazz Sextet” will open the afternoon with a short set of works by some of the great jazz legends.
