San Francisco Photographer Mel Solomon to show at Gallery 28 June 29, 2011

June 29 to July 28, Tues thru Sun from 12noon to 6pm; Reception July 1st 6-9pm

San Francisco photographer Mel Solomon is one of the artists accepted by Gallery 28 in their Second Annual Competition and Exhibit opening June 29, 2011.

Mr. Solomon will be exhibiting five of his most recent photographs of San Francisco which are part of a 15 image work-in-progress series using a new camera process with images printed on natural cotton rag paper.

In addition to his many exhibits in California, his work has been shown in Ghana, Zambia, Armenia, and Russia prior to his returning to San Francisco, his permanent residence. Many of his earlier photos depict the faces, beauty and pageantry of these countries.

The exhibition will run through July 28th and the opening reception will be Friday, July 1st from 6 to 9pm.
Regular gallery hours are Tue. Thru Sun. from 12n to 6pm.
