San Francisco Natural History Lecture Series -Peter Pyle: the Great Transpacific Migrations July 23, 2009

Join guest speaker Kevin M. Clarke for an evening lecture/presentation of 'Not in My Kitchen: Invasive Ants in San Francisco.' Clarke has been working as a graduate assistant with entomologist Brian Fisher at the California Academy of Sciences studying Bay Area ants. They are surveying to discover how the 100 species of Bay Area natives, twenty of which are found in San Francisco, are coping with the aggressive invaders from Argentina and Brazil.
