San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus's three ensembles join forces to present a rockin' weekend of '50s fun. The ensembles - The Lollipop Guild, Vocal Minority and del Castro – cover a wide repertoire including hits made famous by Jerry Lee Lewis, the Four Seasons, Billy Haley and the Comets, Ritchie Valens and much more. Songs include such classics as La Bamba, Rock Around the Clock, Goodnight Sweetheart, Walk Like a Man, Lollipop, Blue Moon, Little Darlin', Tico Tico, and the show's title song, Great Balls of Fire.

Three shows at Theatre Rhinoceros will include a live band, dancing, and the added attraction of an authentic Wurlizer Jukebox. Guest appearances include "Lucy and Ricky", "Carmen Miranda" and possibly even "Wolfman Jack." Saturday performance will conclude with a sock hop. Audience members are invited to come in costume and join in the fun. Prizes will be awarded in a dance contest and also for best costumes – think "Grease" or "Happy Days.
