ABOUT LINDA BROWN
As Co-founder and Executive Vice President of SCS Global Services, Linda Brown has helped direct the development and operation of SCS's certification and assessment programs in a variety of areas.

During her 28 years with SCS, Brown has served as Director of Communications, Director of Environmental Claims Certification, Director of Sustainable Agriculture, and Director of Quality Assurance. Ms. Brown has authored numerous articles on environmental certification and preferability, life-cycle assessment and food safety issues. Furthermore, she has presented details of SCS programs and methods to diverse audiences around the globe. She is currently involved in national standards development activities related to sustainable agriculture and advanced life cycle assessment for public marketing claims. In addition, she is working in support of an ambitious new initiative to stop Arctic climate warming.
