Special Second Night Event 3/24: Double Feature with Sex and Imagining (also from Coffee and Language Productions)

Coffee and Language Productions presents CENTAUR, JP Allen’s surprising and poetic story about a San Francisco man documenting his plan of murder and revenge, making its Theatrical Premiere on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Landmark’s Lumiere Theatre, 1572 California Street, San Francisco, playing with daily shows through Thursday, March 29.

In Allen’s haunting and unexpectedly sensual drama, an unidentified man is stunned by the death of his girlfriend, Jennifer, in a car accident with a drunk driver. However, the drunk escapes punishment because of a mistake by the police. Determined to get revenge, the unidentified man decides to play a “complex game” of murder and record his efforts, and memories of Jennifer, by making a video that mirrors a gift she gave him just before she died. Filmed in spectacular locations in and around San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, in a noir style, this local independent drama features outstanding performances by Bay Area actors JP Allen, as the unidentified main character, Amy Mordecai as Jennifer, and Chris Pflueger as the driver. CENTAUR also showcases brilliant music by popular Austin band, Michael Slattery and SHOULDERS. Written and Photographed by JP Allen.

The film’s running time is 87 minutes; it is not rated.
