San Francisco Blues Festival September 26, 2008

The nation's oldest blues festival continues this fall on the green at Fort Mason’s Great Meadow, overlooking San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Among the acts scheduled for the 36th annual event: Johnny Winter, Buckwheat Zydeco and Ruthie Foster, as well as a tribute concert to John Lee Hooker and a documentary of the bluesman featured as part of the Blues Film Series at the legendary Roxie Theatre.
