Come play at what promises to be the biggest celebration of youth sports in California: the First Annual San Diego Youth Sports Festival (SDYSF). Located at San Diego State University and Presented by SUBWAY® restaurants, the SDYSF will kick-off this free, collaborative event July 16 -17, blending sports, nutrition and participation to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

The SDYSF will be a fun-filled adventure for children under the age of 13, providing them the opportunity to test their current skills or learn new ones through a variety of sports stations including Football, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Roller Hockey, Cheer, Golf, Skateboarding, Surfing, Karate, Volleyball and more. Good health is a family affair so parents are encouraged to participate in the "SKLZ" sports contests with their children while learning the latest in health, nutrition and physical fitness. In addition, families will enjoy live entertainment from local musicians, meet professional and college athletes as well as members of the US Olympic Team, and sample healthy food and tasty treats. Representatives from local sports programs will host each sport station, providing the opportunity to talk one-on-one with them about joining their leagues and teams.

Join the SDYFS and help build awareness about the plight of Childhood Obesity in San Diego and learn about the importance of a healthy diet and exercise. Get in the game and join in with your family and company for a day of play in San Diego!
