THE HUMAN RIGHTS VIGIL
presented by: San Diego Pride and the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties

Friday, July 18, 6:30-7:45 p.m. (FREE COMMUNITY EVENT)

The Pride Stage, Historic Balboa Park (Juniper and Balboa Dr)

The vigil will call on the San Diego community to bear witness to human rights abuses of LGBT people locally and globally, to educate and inspire them to action.

A global activist for social justice and LGBT equality, London based, Peter Tatchell will be the featured speaker.

To date, this fearless human rights leader has engaged in 3,000 civil disobedience protests around the world, making him one of the most dynamic international leaders of the past four decades.

Another guest speaker will provide a local perspective to the vigil and Folk singer and guitarist Allen Singer will perform traditional folk music.
