Samhain by Covenant of Brighidshaven October 28, 2009

This is the official announcement and invitation to the next open circle event hosted by the Covenant of Brighid's Haven. Our next event will be our open circle for Samhain on Wednesday, 10/28/2009, at the Unitarian-Universalist Congregation of Erie, 7180 New Perry Highway, Erie PA 16508. Doors open at 7pm, rite to begin between 7:30 and 8:00, potluck feast to follow.

It is often said of Brighidshaven circles that Samhain is our most serious and solemn, while Yule is our most raucous and joyful. In keeping with our theme of creating change we are pleased to report that we are inverting this tradition this year. We shall gather at this, the final harvest, to send words of love and joy to our loved ones who have passed beyond the veil, but also to celebrate, dance, and laugh in fine joyful style! Please join us in our reverent merriment.

What: Open Circle for Samhain
Where: Erie UU Church, 7180 Perry Highway
When: Wednesday, 10/28/09
What time: Doors open at 7pm, rite to begin between 7:30 and 8:00, potluck feast to follow
What to wear: Please wear dark colors
What to bring: Dish for the potluck feast

Please note that a $3.00 donation is requested to help defray the cost of renting the space.
