'Same Time, Next Year' is the story of a couple who meet by chance at a romantic inn over dinner. Although they're married to others, they develop a relationship and decide to meet each year. The relationship evolves into emotional intimacy over the course of 25 years. As time goes by, each has some personal crisis that the other helps them through, often without both of them understanding what is going on.
