Salute to John Updike June 28, 2009

The work of Pulitzer Prize-winning author John Updike is the focus of this tribute. Featuring: Christopher Lydon, journalist, TV and radio personality; X. J. Kennedy, poet and editor; and F. D. Reeve, poet and scholar. Held on the East Lawn of the Longfellow National Historic Site, rain or shine. Chairs are provided, but guests are welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs or their own.

Part of the 2009 Summer Festival of the Longfellow National Historic Site. Events are sponsored by the Friends of the Longfellow House and the New England Poetry Club.
