Salsa Under the Stars - "Ocho y Mas" May 29, 2009

On Friday, May 29, the New Mexico Jazz Workshop, in partnership with Melaza Productions, is very pleased to present Ocho y Mas, one of the hottest salsa bands out of New York City. This "who's who" of salsa musicians features Marc Quinones and Bobby Allende and an all-star line up of musicians who have played with such salsa greats as Celia Cruz, Marc Anthony, Ruben Blades and many others. Opening the show will be RumbaTronix, a dynamic duo using modern electronics to give new meaning to traditional Latin beats.
