SALSA ON THE FILLMORE SHAKES UP THE FILLMORE DISTRICT

Salsa on The Fillmore transforms San Francisco's Fillmore District into a large dance club on the evening of Saturday, July 24. The event spans six venues, with live performances at Yoshi's Lounge, Rasselas Jazz Club, Sheba Piano Lounge, 1300 On Fillmore, Gussies's Chicken and Waffles, Bruno's Pizzeria Cucina and the Fillmore Center Plaza. Bands include Mazacote, Avance, Los Boleros, Gary Flores and more. DJs Fab Fred and Bobby A will also get the Fillmore dancing to a new beat.

Salsa on the Fillmore kicks off at 7pm with free salsa dance lessons on The Fillmore Center Plaza at O'Farrell and Fillmore Streets with Bay Area Latin dance instructors, Juan Gil and Rebecca Miller to the live music of Los Boleros until 9:30pm. Indoors, dance lessons begin at Rasselas Jazz Club at 8:30pm and at Yoshi's Lounge at 9pm, followed by featured bands and DJs until 2:00 am.
