Sunday's SALON CONCERT SERIES performance by Trio Fibonacci will feature French music from 21st Century including music by Pascal Dusapin, Christophe Bertrand, Marc Monnet & Mark André. SALON CONCERT SERIES is an ongoing series of intimate home concerts with full receptions, encouraging dialogue between the artist and performer.
San Francisco based Nexmap is dedicated to the production and appreciation of contemporary, experimental art and music. With Binary Cities #7 Nexmap will present two opportunities to see and hear the internationally renown, Montreal based Trio Fibonacci, performing on both Friday, October 16th, in co-production with CNMAT and on Sunday, October 18th in an intimate home concert as part of their continuing SALON CONCERT SERIES. Also that weekend, Nexmap will premiere an excerpt of Marc Couroux's film 68/70 with local SF filmmaker John Davis' Mark You, Make Believe My Dear, Yes (2006) on Saturday, October 17 at Counterpulse.
