2009 Job Fair
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS:
The Salem School Districts Job Fair will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Salem High School.
Though we do not have vacancies in all areas, administrators willbe conducting brief screenings with certified and statement eligible candidates for the following positions:
Kindergarten Teachers (Must have prior primary teaching experienceorhave completed student teaching in kindergarten, grade 1, or grade 2);
Middle Schooland High School Teachers (all content areas)
Middle School Media Specialist
Student Support Services- Special Education, SAIF, Speech Therapist,etc.
If you are NH certified, hold a certificate from another state, or you have a Statement of Eligibility from the NH Department of Education and you are interested in applying in these areas, please register for one time slot only.Prior to the job fair, youmust complete the on-line application processby visiting the "Employment Opportunities" section of our website.
Due to the limitednumber of appointment times, we will not be screening for the following positions, however, you may complete theon-line application process for any of these positions by visiting the "Employment Opportunities" section of our website:
Elementary Teachers Grades 1 - 5
Guidance Counselors
Physical Education Teachers
Administrator Positions
You must hold a current state certification or hold a Statement of Eligibility from the NH Department of Education to be screened by an administrator. However, as a service, a representative from the NH Department of Education will be available at the job fair to answer certification questions for anyone. Appointments for the NH Department of Education are NOT REQUIRED. A sign-up sheet will be available at the job fair. If you have not applied to the NH Department of Education to begin the certification process or to receive a Statement of Eligibility, please contact them a 603-271-3494. For certification questions, you can visit the credentialing section of their website for further information.
The positions available for 2009-2010 can be viewed by visiting the "Employment Opportunities" section of our website after February 5, 2009.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:
נ Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
נ Pleasecompletethe entire on-line applicationprocess prior to the job fair.

- Three letters of reference
