The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra has become one of the finest chamber orchestras in the world today and remains America's only full-time professional chamber orchestra. Dennis Russell Davies conducts Beethoven's Symphony No. 1. Also on the program are works by Cage, Ravel and Andriessen. The soprano soloist is Dawn Upshaw.
