Sacred Song, a multi-ethnic choral group, sings both acapella and with accompaniment on guitar, flute, bass, keyboard, accordion, and percussion.

Since 1995, the group's annual December concerts have affirmed the values of social justice and spiritual inclusiveness.

"The annual Evenings of Sacred Song provide a wonderful opportunity for kindred spirits to gather together and celebrate our common commitment to peace and justice," says nationally renowned storyteller La'Ron Williams, a Sacred Song founding member.

Sacred Song director Jeanne Mackey adds, "With our breath, our voice, our sacred intentions, we create a communal gathering to sustain us for the challenges of the year to come. The evening is designed for maximum audience participation this year, so we'll all have a chance to shine!"

All proceeds after expenses will be donated to Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice (ICPJ) and a local family facing immigration issues.

Sliding scale donation: $5.00 - $20.00. Admission is free for children under age 12. Tickets are available at the door. Come celebrate the season, sing along, and enjoy music and rhythms from around the world.
