Sacred India Sacred Tibet December 11, 2007

This exhibition presents Indian and Tibetan religious art from the 11th to 19th centuries. The works of art assume various forms and styles, but are linked in spirit with the essence of enlightenment, represented by the images of the Indian Buddha and a multitude of related deities and holy figures.
