I'm sorry but this event was very disappointing. TO THE PARTICIPANTS AND MANAGERS OF THIS EVENT - PARTICIPANTS: THOUGH I UNDERSTAND THAT HAVING YOUR "CAMP" NEAR THE DANCE CIRCLE YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THE ONLY PEOPLE YOU ARE ACCOMODATING BY OBSTRUCTING THE VIEWING ARE FELLOW DANCERS -- MEANING: GET YOUR SHELTER, AREA, OR WHATEVER OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY. YOU MUST REALIZE IN ORDER TO GAIN/MAINTAIN/BOLSTER PUBLIC APPRECIATION THE PUBLIC VIEW WILL HAVE TO HAVE ACCESS. TODAY'S EVENT SUCKED -- WE HAD TWO SHELTERS IN FRONT OF US THAT WERE DANCERS AND THEIR FAMILIES, COME ON, GIVE US AND THOSE THAT HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A POW-WOW (MY NIECES AND NEPHEWS)THE ACCESS AND ABILITY TO SEE THE EVENT, YOU ARROGANT FUCKS (AND I SAY THIS BECAUSE OF THE DANCERS IN FRONT OF US -- INCONSIDERATE). THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I GO TO A MISMANAGED CALIFORNIA POW-WOW, I GUESS I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE REZ FOR THE REAL DEAL BECAUSE THESE CLOWNS DON'T HAVE A CLUE... AND LASTLY -- PICK UP THE DAMN TRASH........ THE SIGNIFIER SHOULDN'T BE THE TRASH OVER-FLOWING FROM THE TRASH CANS IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE PICKED-UP, LOOKED LIKE THE WORST OF THE WORST OF THE REZ'S (I KNOW YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT).

I'm sorry you had such a horrible time. I'm sure in every way, that it was not anyone's intention to make your experience a bad one. In fact pow wows are gatherings for good spirits and making new friends.
From your hostility and language, it sounds to me like you belong at a white man's gathering next time rather than a pow wow.
Faith in the Spirit above gives us a peace in everything we do. Try meditation and cleansing.
I, for one,had a great time. I made some new friends for life. I even had someone share their shade with me.
Maybe it is not the dancers that make you so angry. Maybe it is your lack of ability to get along with others, reach out, relax and trust.
