Ryan Martin: Gainesway: the Stewardship of an Arboretum January 7, 2011

Martin, the Director of Horticulture at Gainesway Farm, gives you an inside look at a different side of the beloved horse farm. Given arboretum status in 1998 by the American Public Garden Association, Gainesway houses century-old oak and sycamore trees and has meticulously groomed their landscapes for cultivation of a variety of other plant life. This, in addition to the desire to create a beautiful garden aesthetic to compliment the diverse architecture and landscape of Gainesway has made the farm one of the natural treasures of the Bluegrass.
