RVA Grooves presents Baltimore native Maysa on Thursday, November 29th at the Hippodrome Theater in Historical Jackson Ward. Maysa is no stranger to the music world, with her smooth jazz influence known around the globe. She recently released her ninth solo album Motions of Love featuring musical legends Stevie Wonder and Dwele. Maysa’s first taste of fame began as the featured voice on British jazz band Incognito leading her down the path of creating 90’s hits “Don’t You Worry about a Thing,” “Still A Friend of Mine” and “Deep Waters.” RVA Grooves, “All Things Arts & Culture” showcases regional and national musicians, visual artists, film makers, and dancers.
