Rustler's Moon is bluegrass ensemble from California featuring Kathy Kallick, Bill Evans, Tom Bekeny and Cindy Browne. Saxophonist Bill Evans has over twelve albums as a leader, and has worked with a wide variety of performers, including Miles Davis, John McLaughlin, Michael Franks, Herbie Hancock, David Sanborn, Ron Carter, Steve Smith and Trilok Gurtu among others. Kathy Kallick's bluegrass and traditional country classics, as well as her compelling originals, incorporate the unique perspective and refreshing musical sensibilities that won her a Lifetime Achievement Award from the California Bluegrass Association in 2001. Kallick's band features Tom Bekeny on mandolin, Avram Siegel on banjo, Amy Stenberg on bass and Brian Wicklund on fiddle -- sparkles and drives, brilliantly showcasing Kathy's incandescent vocals.
