Russian Winter Festival December 14, 2007

Celebrate the holidays at Hillwood in Old Russian style! Tour the estate and Mansion decorated for the holiday season. Stroll through the gardens in their winter splendor. Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden will share folktales and Samovar, Kalinka, and the St. Petersburg Trio will perform festive music and dance. Children can create their own lady’s kokoshnik (headdress) or gentleman’s hat like those worn by Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden. Seasonal gifts line the shelves of the Museum Shop, and the Café beckons all visitors. $18, $12 Friends, $7 Students, $5 Children ages 6–18, Free for children under age 6.
