Russian Winter Festival December 13, 2008

Hillwood celebrates the holidays in Old Russian style. Visitors will meet Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden, hear lively winter songs performed by Samovar Russian Folk Music Ensemble, and watch the traditional Russian folk dances of Kalinka Dance Ensemble. A special art activity will allow visitors of all ages to create their own kokoshnik, a lady’s headdress, or traditional Russian gentleman’s hat. Shopping and festive dining in the café round out this day of family fun.
