Runes Class 3: "Care and Feeding of the Elder Futhark" May 18, 2008

"Take those runes down from the shelf and use them!" This class deals with the magical properties and uses of the runes of the elder futhark. Participants will be shown historic as well as contemporary uses of the runes, from rune script to bind runes to intoning. Participants should bring notebook and pen/pencil and are encouraged to bring along any personal rune sets they may have for use in class.Classes will be held on the first three Sundays in May. Classes are $10/person, payable at the start of each class. Sorry, no make-up sessions. For more information or to pre-register, call the store at (814) 455-9497. Seats are limited! This series of classes will be an in depth looks at the ancient runes; their historical significance as well as their importance to todays students. Each class is designed to build upon the previous classs knowledge, but it is not completely necessary to take all classes.
