Runes Class 2: "For Entertainment Purposes Only: Augury and Divination" May 11, 2008

"The trick is to get the staves to whisper their secrets and reveal the mysteries."This class deals with several forms of divination utilizing the runes of the elder futhark. Participants will be exposed to historic as well as contemporary forms of divination and theory behind the forms. Participants should bring notebook and pen/pencil and are encouraged to bring along any personal rune sets they may have for use in class. Classes will be held on the first three Sundays in May. Classes are $10/person, payable at the start of each class. Sorry, no make-up sessions. For more information or to pre-register, call the store at (814) 455-9497. Seats are limited! This series of classes will be an in depth looks at the ancient runes; their historical significance as well as their importance to todays students. Each class is designed to build upon the previous classs knowledge, but it is not completely necessary to take all classes.
