Run for the Schools April 30, 2011

5k Run/Walk and 100-yard Dash at Chilhowee Park. 1-Mile Family Fun Walk at Knoxville Zoo. Get your tail in gear and get ready to Run For The Schools! Run in the 5k through Chilhowee Park, enjoy a fun 1mile walk with friends/family through Knoxville Zoo or test your speed in the 100-yard dash. Celebrate after the race events with music, face painting, awards, refreshments and giveaways from area vendors. More than 3,300 people participated in the 2010 race, resulting in nearly $9,000 being raised for local schools! See the website for specifics.
