Please note: Jeffrey Kahane, originally scheduled to conduct and perform at Davies Symphony Hall November 11-13, has canceled his engagement with the San Francisco Symphony due to illness. He will be replaced by conductor Michael Francis and the Ravel Piano Concerto in G major will be replaced by Milhaud’s Le Création du monde. The rest of the program remains unchanged, including the World Premiere of Rufus Wainwright’s Five Shakespeare Sonnets and Weill’s Symphony No. 2.
