Annie Byron’s one woman show explores the humorous experiences of a middle aged woman attempting to find a partner through internet dating. RU4ME confronts pressing questions about love; why is it so hard to find and even trickier to keep? How and why do we end up harming our relationships despite our best intentions? Is romantic love truly the impossible encounter? Can you find Mr Right on a dating site and if you do, how do you recognize him?

Adapted from Andee Jones bestselling book Kissing Frogs by actor Annie Byron, RU4Me is the second production in the inaugural season of the new independent theatre initiative, True West Theatre. Directed by Wayne Harrison one of Australia’s most experienced and innovative directors, this delightfully told tale sheds a witty and amusing light on what we do on our search for love and how old gender politics are being born again through the advent of new media technology.

As part of the inaugural True West season, RU4ME is playing from Thursday, 20 – Saturday, 29 October at Riverside Theatres.
