Slide guitar virtuoso Roy Rogers promises a blistering evening of blues when he and the Delta Rhythm Kings take to the stage at Yoshi's SF exactly a year after their first debute. Roy’s eclectic musical vision and peerless chops have earned him kudos from Rolling Stone (“one of the rare guitar heroes who values feeling over flash”) and Guitar Player (“surely one of the modern masters”), as well as multiple W.C. Handy Award nominations as Best Guitar Instrumentalist and six Grammys as producer of John Lee Hooker and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott discs. For more than 20 years, Rogers has led his road-tested Delta Rhythm Kings around the world. Their return to Yoshi's SF should not be missed.
