EXPERIENCE GREENVILLE HISTORY
Chautauqua presents a discussion Tuesday May 19, @ 7:00 pm at Hughes Main Library, downtown Greenville. A Panel of Greenvillians (who lived here during the 60’s) share their side of the Civil Rights story -- Greenville’s reaction to Rosa Parks’ refusal to move to the back of the bus and the events in Greenville that led up to the desegregation of schools in 1970. Come and experience Greenvillle History – that just won’t stay in a book! 244-1499 or [email protected]
