Enjoy sumptuous food and wine pairings, while taking in panoramic skyline views through two-story windows high above the Potomac River, as the Roof Terrace Restaurant launches its Fall/Winter Wine Dinner Series. The first dinner, to be held Thursday, October 19th, will feature a delectable, four-course menu by Chef Jose Urrutia, specially created to complement wines from Chalk Hill Winery. During each course, the chef and a representative from Chalk Hill will discuss how the flavors of the cuisine pair well with the characteristics of the wine being poured. Chalk Hill Estate consists of 60 different small vineyards that are dedicated to producing distinctive wines of elegance and power. On the roof terrace level of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Roof Terrace Restaurant wine dinners begin at 8:00 p.m. and cost $100 per guest, exclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations can be made by calling 202-416-8555.
