The Roof Terrace Restaurant at the Kennedy Center and J. Lohr Winery will present a Wine Dinner featuring flavors of the fall. Enjoy breathtaking, panoramic skyline views of Washington, DC through two-story windows high above the Potomac River, while feasting on a four-course menu featuring Veal Cheeks Braised in a Chipotle Demi Glaze served with Black Lentils and Wild Chervil and Oyster Stew with Salsify and Leeks. The menu, specially created by Chef Jose Urrutia, will be complemented by J. Lohr wines, which come from vineyards in Monterey County, Napa Valley, and Paso Robles, California. During each course, Chef Urrutia and a representative from J. Lohr will explain how the characteristics of each wine pairs well with the flavors in the dishes being served.
