Ronnie Baker Brooks pays more than a passing nod to his father Lonnie Brooks blues legacy, but also exhibits an eclectic approach that takes in everything from the Stax/Volt soul classics of the mid-'60s to Van Halen to archetypal Chuck Berry guitar licks. A classic soul singer in the Otis Redding vein, a fine blues interpreter, and a monster guitarist with an ample supply of technique: it's an exhilarating combination.

With his hot band and exciting live show, Zac Harmon has won many of the best new artist blues awards of the past couple of years. His background includes playing with Z.Z. Hill, Dorothy Moore, and Sam Meyers and as a songwriter and producer for many major blues and R&B artists. The Mid South Revue play emotional, catchy, guitar-driven blues and Harmon is a spellbinding storyteller.
